Spot Galvanometer

High sensitivity, very useful as a null detector. Housed in a sturdy plastic case with an in-built lamp and scale arrangement, taut band type movement, with Alcomax magnet, clamp, and free arrangement for safe transportation, easy replacement of the 6 V lamp, working on 220V A. C. with internal transformer. With a rotary switch for selecting any of the five shunt powers 1, 1/10, 1/100, 1/1000, and short circuit.
Galvanometer resistance: 125 ohms.

Volts per mm deflection: 6.25 x 10⁻⁶
Critical damping resistance: 1000 ohms.
